AFKClipboardGuard monitors clipboard activity locally on Windows and detects content that looks like a secret: passwords, tokens, JWTs, API keys, private keys. It can move that content into an encrypted local vault instead of leaving it in the clipboard, offers secure paste, clears the clipboard automatically, protects the vault with a PIN and applies per-app rules. The Windows clipboard is one of the least protected places on a computer, and one of the busiest. Passwords, API keys, recovery codes, JWTs, connection strings and private keys pass through it every day, and they stay there long after the paste is done. Any program running under your session can read that content, Clipboard History can keep a copy of it, and Cloud Clipboard can send it to another machine. AFKClipboardGuard watches that activity locally. Each time the clipboard changes, it looks at what was copied, decides whether it looks like a secret, and applies the rule you chose for that situation. Ordinary text is left alone. A password, a token or a private key is treated differently: it can be wiped after a short timer, wiped as soon as it has been pasted once, or moved straight into a local encrypted vault so that it never sits in the clipboard at all. The vault is a plain local file on your own disk, encrypted with Windows DPAPI and, if you want a second lock, a PIN of your own. From the vault you can paste an entry where you need it, with the clipboard cleared again right after. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is synchronised, and no copy is kept anywhere else.
